At FBCC, your children are our children! We believe each child is uniquely created by God and needs to know the gift of salvation He offers them. We have carefully selected our curriculum based around Biblical principles, age and developmental concepts that will help your child grow. They will learn to work cooperatively with their peers. Mission Statement

Our ministry is to introduce our little ones to a loving, caring Creator and God who makes a difference in their everyday lives. First Baptist Children’s Center (FBCC) wants to offer them a fun, loving Christian environment to guide them in developing skills in all areas of their lives.

Objectives:

To teach each child God’s love for them and others, his gifts and other Biblical principles

To encourage the exploration of reading, writing, music, math, language, and science through the use of learning centers

To help the child establish good relationship habits through home and family centers, as well as supervised free play

To teach each child to understand the consequences of his or her choices

To give encouragement

To build good self-esteem

To help develop good health habits and both fine and gross motor skills.

Programs

PROGRAMS

FBCC has two programs: the Preschool Program for ages six weeks to five years and the Summer Program for ages six weeks to nine years.

The Pre-School Program offers care for children ages six weeks through five years (pre-kindergarten). These preschoolers are divided by age and developmental stages in different classrooms with teacher/child ratios smaller than the ratios stipulated by the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) in order to maintain safety. Daily schedules are placed in each room and special activities and field trips are available periodically. Our philosophy is to allow children to “learn and grow” by playing in an environment that promotes a positive self-esteem and a healthy curiosity for living.

The Summer Program offers full day care to children from six weeks old to school age (completed Kindergarten through 3rd grade) during the summer months. Scheduled activities are planned and implemented. Trained staff provides new and enriching experiences. Seasoned, returning staff give continuity to this program year after year.

ENROLLMENT

Inquiring parents may schedule an appointment for a tour of the center by the Director or a lead teacher. During the enrollment process, parents will attend an orientation session and will complete all the necessary forms.

Elgibilty

We accept all eligible applicants until our maximum enrollment is reached. Along with private pay, FBCC also accepts Career Pathways.
